Things have been pretty quiet the past couple of days, relatively speaking of course. I had a pretty fun weekend out with my friend. Of course, we really didn't accomplish anything at all. It was one of those nights where you spend hours in the car just trying to figure out what to do, but everything you actually decide on doesn't work out. But anyway, it was cool, and we always have these random silly things that make us laugh like idiots.

I also got an excellent new cellphone. (Look, paragraphs again!) My old cellphone was basically, "ye old nokia" and it was all about the dropped calls. I can just visualize my cellphone saying, "Your conversation is over. The phone hath spoken," right before it cut me off. Sometimes it would just cut out every other word. THAT was fun. Anyway, I reciprocated by treating it like the spawn of evil that it was. (Yes, I always call it that, because that's his name). Generally, spawn of evil would get left in my car for days on end, thrown into the floorboard of my friends' car since it was too big to fit into my tiny purse, and I recently left it off for three weeks. Just because.

Now we move to new phone. New phone is shiny, beautiful, and awesome in about 37 different ways. AT LEAST. I love it. Oh how I love it. I love it so much I am going to make an effort to get more friends just so I can use it more. That's how great it is, lol. But seriously, it's a cameraphone. Which of course, I needed, right? It's got like every feature that I can think of, including some I never would have imagined. Did I know that I could get a tiny polar bear to walk across my screen and do silly things to amuse me? I did not! But now I do. How did I ever live without this?? I know, I am way too easily amused. Anyway, so I have the internet, chat, email, text, speakerphone, walkietalkie, polar bear, ringtones, picturemail/picture id... etc. Basically... I think if I asked this phone to make me an omelette, it probably could. It's JUST that awesome. Alot of the features cost extra, but that hasn't really sunk in yet so I'm still having fun playing with it, lol. One of these being, ringtones. I realized I could get a song clip for my ringtone. Not a midi, a real clip! Which I did not need. But, I spent a few days trying to decide what to get so I could try it out. They did not have 6 Underground by the Sneakerpimps. This made me sad. For about a minute. They did not have alot of my other choices either. So it came down to Fuel or Trapt. I decided to go with "Echo" by Trapt. This may have been a mistake. Did I mention you cannot preview the song before you buy? Sooo, instead of the beginning of the chorus... "close my eyes, let the whole thing pass me by, there is no time, to waste asking why, I'll run away with you, by my side, until this echo can subside.." I get the end of the chorus, "I need to let go let go let go let go of this pride until this echo echo echo echo in my mind until this echo echo echo echo can subside" Now, don't get me wrong... I love Trapt. I love "Echo"... but my, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to put up with 3 months of this particularly repetative ringtone. I knew I should've gone with Fuel (shimmer). In three months I'll try a new one, and if it goes the same I think I'll pass on the real song clip ringtones. WHY can't they put a preview? Also, since I'm buying this song clip, I think I should get it forever. Not just three months. But anyway, I do love this phone... I open it constantly and look at the screen. Like I think having a new phone is suddenly going to make me more popular and I'm going to have tons of calls. Ah well. I took a picture outside of some flowers and made it my wallpaper, so when I open the phone I see pretty pink flowers. And then I close it and it shows them on the caller ID on the front too. Aww. The phone itself is emerald green... to match my eyes. How cool is that? lol. If any of you call me, my voicemall message right now is HORRIBLE. I promise I will make it better soon.

That was alot of talking about a phone. Especially considering I've always said that I hate talking on the phone, lol. Cell phones are different though. They're wonderful and amazing. Because I said so. And now, when I'm in a resteraunt and my friend goes to the bathroom and a creepy older man won't stop staring at me, well... I can pretend to be busy with my cellphone.
