I had this whole entry written out, but then I decided not to post it, so I deleted it all to start again. Ha. Maybe that just means I have too much free time? I'm staying home today, even though it'd be a pretty good day to go shopping. It's cold, rainy, and gray... I think watching movies and drinking hot tea is a better idea.

I don't know what the deal is lately; Sunday (I think?) I ripped about a 4 inch gash across the back of my favorite coat. It's the one I have in my black and white pics, if you've seen those. Floor length black coat with a lace up corset style back. Anyway, so last night I went out wearing a different coat, and somehow ripped off one of the buttons and I happened to notice it laying on the floor. Oh well, at least I found it. Seriously though, who screws up two coats in one week?

But if that's not enough repetition... I wrote about almost hitting a bunny the other night on my way home, and then last night, a small cat ran out in front of my car. Geeze, animals... just back off when I'm driving, okay?

I submitted my first t-shirt design to Threadless last night. Yay. It's kind of stupid, but it was the only idea that I've come up with for a shirt so far. I'm pretty sure you can send in as many as you like, so I figured I may as well try something. It takes 6-10 days to get approval, so when (if) it gets posted I might put the link here in case any nice people would like to vote on it for me. Votes increase your chances of getting it printed... see also; getting paid.

I've been shopping around for portable dvd players the past couple of days. Because I decided that's what I'm getting my oldest niece for Christmas. Every 8 year old needs one, right? The thing that annoyed me is that the kids' versions have a 3.5 inch screen. That's like, a gameboy, essentially. Who would want to watch a movie like that? So instead I found her a real one with good reviews and a 7 inch screen. Yay. There's a reason why I'm the cool aunt. ; ) Although, next year I will have to make things a little more equal between her and her sister. For now though, I think the little one would be happy with pretty much any toy I get her.

There's more stuff, but I think I've rambled enough for now.

Mel had this quiz on her site, so I took it...

Ray's Random Movie Quote:

'The next time I have to come in here I'm crackin' skulls.'

- Principal Richard Vernon, The Breakfast Club
