Glittering Chopsticks

I'm not sure why I'm making an entry right now. I'm so very tired. It's after 2am now and I got up at around 8:30, after a leisurely two hours of sleep. Not to mention the fact that those two hours were filled with nightmares about being chased by a psycho killer. FUN stuff. Hehe. In my dream, Onstar saved my life. How weird is that? lol. I've definitely been watching too much tv I guess. Anyway I had a good weekend. The grandparents' visit went really well. They were all in a great mood, all at the same time. It was like a pre-Thanksgiving miracle or something, lol. So it was cool. I'm skipping lots of details because I am lazy, and plus I just don't want to write everything here. Got some really great news, started my Christmas shopping, and finally figured out the defroster in my car. That's a huge deal to me too. My old car, the defroster was broken, so using it meant making the windows so much worse. It left me with a lingering hesitancy for using defrosters in general. Don't ask me to thaw out your turkey. But the point is, it was dark and rainy all day today, and my window got so clouded up I could barely see. My options were dare to try the defroster, or pull over. So I turned it on, and within 30 seconds my winshield was completely clear. That just amazes me. Maybe you can't appreciate the joy of this, but maybe that's because you've never driven in the rain, at night, with the windows down, because you couldn't see out the stupid window. I so love my car. Yesterday I had been sitting here at the computer for a while, and I let the dog out of her playpen and came back to sit down. I was barefoot as usual, and she ran under my desk and started barking ferociously. I looked, and there was a HUGE brown spider under my desk, right next to where I just had my foot. As if I needed another reason to love that doggy, now I have one more. Anyone who saves me from giant spiders gets my undying adoration. My desk still smells like citrus (bugspray). I also hit the spider with a stick...repeatedly. Actually more of a mop handle or something. I'm beginning to suspect that my sleep deprivation is leading this to become a really strange entry. Or maybe they all are. So here I am, going to bed early. And not early as in early the next day when the sun is coming up. Freaky, huh?

This entry had more typos than I've had in a long time. I changed the ones I caught, but if you find more, let me know.
